Ingredients
  

  • Flour and oil for browning the chuck roast
  • Beef chuck or rump roast
  •  1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
  • 1 package baby carrots
  • 2 lbs potatoes peeled and cut into large cubes
  • 1 tsp salt for Browning
  • 1 tsp pepper for Browning

Instructions
 

  •  Mix flour, pepper, and salt. Lightly coat the chuck roast with flour mix. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Brown the chuck roast on all sides in the hot oil until lightly golden.
  •  Transfer the browned chuck roast to the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • Add the potatoes and baby carrots to the slow cooker around the chuck roast.
  •  Mix the brown gravy mix, dry ranch dressing mix, and dry Italian dressing mix 1 1/2 cup water. Pour over the chuck roast, potatoes, and carrots.
  • Cover and cook on high for four hours or on low for eight hours, until the meat is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
  • Once done, remove the chuck roast from the slow cooker and slice. Serve the chuck roast with the vegetables and enjoy your delicious slow cooker meal!
