Ingredients
- Flour and oil for browning the chuck roast
- Beef chuck or rump roast
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
- 1 package baby carrots
- 2 lbs potatoes peeled and cut into large cubes
- 1 tsp salt for Browning
- 1 tsp pepper for Browning
Instructions
- Mix flour, pepper, and salt. Lightly coat the chuck roast with flour mix. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Brown the chuck roast on all sides in the hot oil until lightly golden.
- Transfer the browned chuck roast to the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Add the potatoes and baby carrots to the slow cooker around the chuck roast.
